fm8.04, windows xp.
to render ligatures in roman headings in book, have created specific character format called "ligatures" (uses expert font). size set "as is" , angle set "as is".
when generating toc, these headings typeset in italic. however, ligatures still in roman, despite setting angle "as is". expected italic ligatures.
am missing something?
