i hope can ask clearly. understanding lightroom "uses" acr raw conversion. on laptop have elements 5.0 , lightroom 1.3 installed. on desktop have same plus pscs2. so.. on laptop have installed acr 4.3. , assuming lightroom using 4.3 raw adjustments.
on desktop, knowing acr 3.7 far can go cs2, there way install acr 4.3 elements 5.0 , know lightroom
is using 4.3?

lightroom using 4.3 engine. lightroom it's not "plug-in". , yes, can install 4.3 (it shows limited functionality in elements) in elements 5.0. but, if need round trip between lightroom , pixel editor, might want upgrading photoshop cs3.
