work pc acrobat 7.0 pro authorized .net passport. authorized home pc digital editions adobe id. deauthorize acrobat on work pc , reauthorize adobe id, thereby having both systems in sync each other. ctrl/alt/d works de not acrobat.

as follow up, deactivated de on work pc. logged in adobe id, hid acrobat activation, tried reactivate (which said successful), when tried open ebook within acrobat message:
