i have tested old v1 pi camera against new v2 sony camera in relatively low light - , doesn't new camera. have added 2 images show how bad looks. thought message new camera performs better, in low light. i'm puzzled.
images taken simultaneously, mounted on same tripod , no specific parameters (auto mode). have tried different shutter speed settings on both cameras, quality of images v1 still better.

3280x2464, f2, 1/8 sec., iso 250
