i've gotten habit of opening dozens (or hundreds) of raw files directly finder, quick command+a, command+o. on previous machines has been fine. on new machine (new me), doing causes textedit open of xmp files well.
i have tried repeatedly use "get info" function set xmps open ps or nothing @ all. far failing miserably , forced take additional steps either avoid or close ton of xmp files.
i know can use bridge, or sort file types select raw files, that, me @ least, quite bit slower, , every day, so, i'm open suggestions.
i'm using dual 2.3 g5 power pc, osx 10.4.10, , cs3 latest updates.
many in advance can offer guidance.
