Unable to EDIT, can only create NEW content - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi folks,

i've tried editing existing content -- clicking on content title or hitting edit toolbar icon -- 'start new topic' page instead.

i can't seem edit pre-installed content or i've added 

i've turned on sql debugging, can't see what's wrong.

before start debugging php, there i've missed?

simplest , basic check install joomla diagnostics in joomla directory. http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,1146/itemid,35/ after execution, replace php file either corrupted or missing.
