i have downloaded document centre free trial , adobe 8.i cannot add pdf document centre or change security settings on adobe 8.there no option available. im stuck ive read guide doesnt of options not available or adobe set out differently .can please help?

you have use adobe acrobat 8.0, microsoft word or excel make entry of controlled document in document center. word , excel can download plugin document center section.
the section on apply policy pdf describes how can use adobe acrobat 8.0 secure files.
