Force check-in of just one content item instead of global check-in? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi... wondering if there way force check-in of 1 item (or items checked-out 1 user?) instead of using global check-in...? if someone's left checked-out, other people editing other things @ time , don't want disrupt they're doing...

the default joomla installation came link in user menu user check in own items. did delete link?
