Thread: Ubuntu 9.10 server edition and Mediatomb

hi guys,

gutsy enough build nix server based on ubuntu 9.10 server edition , ispcontrol 3 set web/mail/ftp , server stuff browser.

working champ until decided install upnp media server.
first tried firefly, installed correctly, visible in netstat listening process, no web gui on given address.... connection error in browser

uninstalled firefly, installed mediatomb, no problems whatsoever, running in netstat

but again no web gui @ http://192.168.1.5:49152.... dead horse, connection error in browser (so not 404 page not found).

seems isn't problem 1 of media server packages, ubuntu setup....

ufw inactive, no firewall, apache running , serving websites...

i'm kind of lost nix newby... assistance appreciated mediatomb working.
