Thread: Need help on custom launcher icons

for long time has bothered me can't figure out how attach custom icons launcher buttons in launch panel.

seems standard method not work me.

go launcher , right click 'properties'. when in 'launcher properties' window, click on existing icon, puts me in 'browse icons' panel. default folder shows has choices, there many other locations .svg , .png icons use. when hit 'browse' button search these other folders, blank/light blue folders showing there nothing there. folder shows icons choose default folder.

know missing. directory/file permissions issue?
