Problems with Outside Links in Content Items - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello!

i'm having issue joomla install.  when created links outside sites in content items, appending url joomla site before url site i'm linking to.  i"ve done searching haven't found answer.

check out http://ilmidillini.hopto.org/fumc  , check out links such on me page see doing.

example:

the txt should link http://www.normalfirst.org

instead, links http://ilmidillini.hopto.org/fumc/www.normalfirst.org

and, since know asked:

$mosconfig_live_site = 'http://ilmidillini.hopto.org/fumc';


and accessing site using http://ilmidillini.hopto.org/fumc
