Color of condition tags are no longer honored

i'm using framemaker 7.2b144 on vista.
my documents have 2 condition tags:
'ae' displays text in green, underline
'rd' displays text in red, underline

this worked fine until now.
even though conditional text still there,
i no longer see displayed in color or underlined.
all text (regular , conditional) black.
when copy conditional text text
(in color shown), appears black
in copied document.

the edit condition tag form shows correct
colors , style (underline) tags.

i don't see color.
is there setting may have changed
override colors???

s, if forum search here you'll find recent threads condition tag issues may have tips.

however, recommend updating fm latest (free) update version 7.2p158 there have been many significant changes since initial 7.2b144 release, of may directly affect conditional functionality.

note fm updates aren't "roll-up", have install each 1 individually, in order.
