got 314gb pidrive wd. when connect pi2 via usb 3 cable, either directly pi usb port, or connected usb powered hub, drive not listed when run blkid. have 3 other external drives , show in listing blkid whether connected directly or via hub. pidrive seems spin ok , running when connected. there missing? drive supplied no instructions, in plain box no label or printing supplied direct wd europe. not using proprietary cable wd show on site, power device not problem. know if absolutely must use cable? there little helpful info. anywhere can find. disk mounting advice can find seems start after finding devices blkid.appreciated.
does drive register when connected desktop or laptop machine?
