hey all, taking time me out.
i'm experiencing strange issue 5v opto-isolated 8 channel relay board: http://yourduino.com/sunshop2/index.php?l=product_detail&p=156
i've wired board arduino , have had 8 channels working. power board wired through arduino 5v , gnd pins direct relay board's vcc , gnd pins. vcc/jd-vcc jumper in place on relay board (no isolation setup). arduino being powered external 2a 7.5v psu.
when began wiring load wires relays, found troubling issue. after screwing in wiresto terminals, powered arduino see if working should. led's on relay board lighting expected, relays no longer clicking(actuating). removed load wires relays thinking might have caused issue, issue persisted. tried various things, checking connections, , swapping out wires feeding vcc , gnd. after few arduino reboots, board randomly began working again both lights , relays switching. cycle happened twice, functioned, hooked load wires relay terminals(no actual load on them), stopped functioning, fiddled wires changed nothing, began working again, etc.
it's working now, need try have issue sorted out , stable before monday (fingers crossed!).
do guys have idea might causing this? i'm going sleep on now, tomorrow i'll try separate 5v psu relay board instead of using arduino power.

those relays need 100ma actuate. 8 of them it's power being pulled arduino. suspect you'll solve problem when use separate 5v supply relay board.
