How to Uninstall VirtueMart? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

have had many problems virtuemart. find clumsy no support forums.

the login requirement much, , has caused readers not able view content.

i want off. need advice.
do uninstall joomla admin?
do unpublish mods first?

i'm going use ezcatalog lite or simple cart, don't have lot sell.

going sell digital copies.

please advise tired writer.

hi,

just uninstall modules, once thats done, uninstall component. done through installer/uninstall menu in backend.

i'm not sure if uninstall removes tables database, might want check that, if want gone 100%. in case delete vm tables, make sure create backup first, in case.
