How do i make a image on my mac and then transfer to sd card - Raspberry Pi Forums

i'm trying find way of emulating raspbery pi on mac configure faster , easier , transfer img sd card , load it. can point me in right direction pls?

need have arm | raspberry emulator... , don't think available yet.

can you're after (i'm doing now) you'll need development rpi dedicated making images (and configuration).

way works setup 'choicest' configuration on development rpi, use dd command backup image mac. (i have directory of several images, 1 kids, 1 programmers, 1 students|writers) ... have many images on file in image server.

when new pi i'm building someone, don't spend lot of time configuring (that has been done)... load image of choice, , voila! i'm finished.

need add card-reader mac... don't have one, i'm sure you're aware... , need understand dd command (you can wipe out computer command if you're not careful).
