Frontend editing and permissions gone! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i log joomla site super administrator.  morning, doing edits file using frontend edit button without problem.  edited static , dynamic content, newsflashes , added links content of listing page have.

when came on later afternoon, i  logged in super administrator again frontend edit button missing.  i've logged out , relogged in no change.  changing task=view task=edit tells me

you not authorized view resource.

i notice cannot use submit news option in user menu.  listed special , said, super administrator.  tells me: 

you not authorized view resource.

  how possible?  did try submit news , realized wanted newsflash cancelled out of (at least think did , not clicked on administrator menu).  disappearance , lack of submit news  started happening after trying user menu submit news option.


the things did on backend were:
- upload photo using media manager
- created new news story , added uploaded photo
- activated who's online module , played module order
- changed mail settings on global configuration (no other changes done)

the template has not been touched in 3 months , said, worked morning.  no 1 else has super administrator access site me. 

that's all.  how frontend edit button back?  how submit news working again?  (changing permissions, etc. doesn't work)  please help!!!

out of curiousity, tried create new submit news link same permission , still getting same error.
