i run elements 4 (version 4.0 according 'about elements' box) on power pc mac running tiger 10.4.9.
i've downloaded camera raw 4.1 , installed per adobe instructions 'file formats' folder, removing previous version onto desktop. when launch elements , check 'about plug ins' list, camera raw keeps coming v3.3.
the same thing happened when tried load camera raw 4.0. result when importing nef files nikon d80, instead of sophisticated window sliders kinds of things, simple window can alter orientation, white balance , exposure.
i can't believe raw converter basic - snapshots in magazines , online suggest should have far more control. can please tell me might going wrong? thanks.
