add content item javascript error when changing section or images pulldown menu - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i javascript error undefined parameters when try add content item.
for example when select subfolder add image article, error "folderimages" undefined.
the same happens when choose in pull-down list section (error: "sectioncategories" undefined)
this happening backend. frond end working fine! happend of sudden.

i've tested out quite extensively extend found cause ans solution.
it has symbols in directory names under "/images".
see below screenshot of errors , problem / solution.


make sure directory names don't have symbols other letters , numbers. if 1 of directory's has symbol ' in example internet explorer generate errors , firefox nothing.

in general it's not wise use "weird" characters (other standard a..z, a..z, 0..9 , _) in file , directory names.
