Thread: I found out how to disable annoying F1 help activation

1. go system - preferences - keyboard shortcuts
2. create new shortcut. name 'do nothing', , write 'false' (without quotes) in "command" field. push ok.
3. scroll bottom of list , find new command. click on "disabled", on right, , push f1.

f1 linked /bin/false, command "man false" says: "do nothing, successfully."

no gnome application (like nautilus) open window ever again when accidentally pushing f1.

amazing trick. thank you!
