when try type command line nothing. how open browser on rpi 3 jessie lite?

1 of major omissions jessie lite, without not 'lite', set of components needed generate graphical user interface (gui).

since browser relies heavily on being run in gui environment, doesn't surprise me there no browser installed.

need add gui environment , browser lite installation. or start afresh full install of raspbian outset.
