i working on macbook pro adobe cs3.
when originially installed cs3 running osx 10.4 "camera raw preferences" under file menu missing. not "develop settings" or other acr functions bridge. able open files in photoshop , use acr way, hindered workflow.
in order solve issue i: 1) updated cs3 (did not fix) 2) rebuilt permissions (did not fix) 3) un-installed cs3, re-installed cs3 (did fix! camera raw in bridge!)
i upgraded mac osx 10.5 (leopard) , right started: no acr in bridge.
so, again tried fix by: 1) un-installing & re-installing cs3 (did not fix) 2) re-installing mac osx 10.5 & cs3 (did not fix, major hassle)
i hoping known fix this, or if there scheduled update either cs3 or mac osx 10.5 addressing such issues bridge. rather not revert 10.4 having bought 10.5.
