Thread: Empathy supports video calls in MSN finally! But how does it work?

(ubuntu 9.10) right clicked on bunch of contacts' names , none of them have "make video call" or whatever in dark letters (active), instead it's light gray (inactive) letters.

these instructions (from empathy official faq):

ubuntu disabled audio/video support in telepathy-butterfly (the msn backend) because new feature got introduced late , feature didn't testing.
can more date packages our telepathy ppa, have audio/video enabled msn:

-add sources:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/telepathy/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/telepathy/ppa/ubuntu karmic main

-and then:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
