Auto numbering in TOC tags

i creating books use auto numbering in headings.

for example:

1.0 introduction
2.0 first chapter
2.1 first topic
2.2 second topic
2.2.1 sub topic 1

when generate toc, numbers not appear. not see information in user's guide.

i using framemaker 7.2.

any suggestions?

go reference page(s) in toc file , scroll down until find collection of variables generate toc contents. it'll like:

openobjectid <$relfilename>:<$objecttype> <$objectid>
<$paratext> <$pagenum>
<$paratext> <$pagenum>
<$paratext> <$pagenum>

each 1 of lines format tag should included.
scroll , down identify tags want have display numbering.

type in para numbering variable, this:
<$paranum> <$paratext> <$pagenum>

save file , update book....
