Thread: how to keep scim work for ubuntu 9.10?

after upgraded 9.04 9.05, added new user account system.
found following:

scim still working (after reinstallation) old accounts not working new account.

in new account's terminal, can use mouse right click choose scim , it'll work terminal, cannot invoke scim firefox, nautilus etc.

found can use ibus although every time after login, have start ibus.

ibus doesn't have input method like, i'd rather scim.

1 can me configure new account using scim allwhere?
