sure hope can "novice". have used photoshop elements. husband knows how enjoy sooooo christmas got me cs4. wow..definite novice here. when try open new picture opens, prism effect of photo or looks window screen has been placed on it. have clue how or why , do fix it.

following r few suggestions:
1st... ur current os system have processor speed , ram memory run ur new cs4?
2nd... did u dump elements ur system 'afore loading cs4? (why keep elements when u got cs4? conflict.)go start> control panel> add or remove programs> click on elements , click remove.
3rd... then... click on adobe cs4 , click remove.
4th... restart ur 'puter.
5th... reload cs4. restart ur 'puter cs4 reloads. begin ur work.
6th... if above not allow smooth cs4 work flow contact adobe support.
