Finger print scanner help

i'm trying use finger print scanner activate 12 volt output. i've seen many tutorials on other projects many different parts. have no idea start , use. doesn't have 12 volts can convert if needed. needs dc output when finger print applied. info great, thanks.

i'm looking @ fingerprint scanner - ttl (gt-511c3) , arduino uno. need make work?
