[solved] Digital outputs of one Arduino to digital inputs of another

hello,

i simulate buttons on arduino, asked myself, whether possible, use arduino send values.

so example connect digital output 5 of arduino 1 digital input 5 of arduino 2 directly.
then start reading digital input 5 of arduino 2 while setting digital output 5 of arduino 1 low or high.
is way of "communication" safe, or damage 1 or both boards?

the problem you're have accurately simulating switch bounce.
