i starting down project , need advice sort of relay need. explain, have gecko in low humidity area, compensate have crude device called repti-fogger provide additional humidity. crude cant control it, either 100% humidity or 30% need put additioinal control on it. want use 1 of arduino;s sitting around control humidity.
i buying temperature/humidity sensor , want turn on/off device based on humidity need keep inside tank.
what sort of relay need?
im not sure how current fogger drawing, initial thoughts control through arduino 5v power trigger ac power line on/off.
any suggestions appreciated!

the easiest way relay shield or ssr. humidifier low current either work.
just make sure take precautions mains voltage. remember relay shield have high voltage on trace side of board.
a ssr safest can separate mains voltage in box , feed input arduino via resistor.
