Thread: having issues with ati driver

hey all, downloaded ati radeon xpress (integrated) driver ati, everthing installed fine, gdm displays:

the following error encountered. may need update configuration solve this.   (ee) failed load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so (ee) failed load module 'glx' (loader failed, 7) (ee)  failed load module 'fglrx' (module requirement mismatch, 0) (ee) no drivers avalible

ive tryed envyng , got frozen screen of colored static.
ive tryed ubuntu's version of drivers , same thing happens.

ubuntu 9/10 not pick video drivers asus m2n68-am - motherboard - micro atx - geforce 7025 , processor amd athlon(tm) 64 x2 dual core processor 5000+, 2600 mhz, 2 core(s), 2 logical processor(s). can in booting desktop gui.
