after updating mac os x leopard 10.5.2, have encountered performance issues suspect related creative suite applications.
i find after reboot, system performs pretty well, on time (a day or two) starts slow down dramatically. using activity monitor clues, noticed seems inordinate number of "msgs sent" several applications, e.g.:
photoshop cs3 running in background document open, , it's sending 100 msgs per second.
illustrator cs3 running in te background no document open, , it's sending 500 msgs per second
unfortunately, did not observe these numbers prior updating 10.5.2. have observed, quitting these applications seems restore system performance acceptable level.
