how many hats there pi? seems creating pi. motor controllers/drivers, etc. list goes on , on. , connect pi in way.
i'm in process of working group doing me think creative , interesting. i'm having board made pi mounts to. power supply pi, , hmi screen have separate power supplies available them on board. and... have stepper motor drivers, hookups, limit switches, etc based on specs gave them on board
yeah... footprint larger pi. shows me can allot pi if you're creative enough. have need this... but, how many more ideas people come use board pi on it, along other requirements built in?

that's entire idea behind compute module. build board what-ever-you-need , mount sdimm socket on sucker , clip in compute module.
way similar without compute module use standard gert board; has atmel (arduino) mcu, , ton of other interconnected peripheral adaptations... slap pi on , al need left programming.
