our process creating pdfs framemaker (print selected files ***.ps, run acrobat distiller create ***.pdf) leaves pdf in state opens page 7, not page 1.
we have front matter in our books numbered i-vii. we're guessing problem caused because acrobat page 1 roman numeral "i", , acrobat page 7 arabic numeral "1", don't know that.
we have workaround: opening pdf in adobe acrobat, choosing file->document properties, clicking initial view tab, , changing open page number setting "1."
is there can in our source files in frame don't have work around?
