once framemaker book converted pdf, page numbers in index not link pages in pdf; instead, clicking them creates error "there error opening document. file cannot found." link seems searching fm file, not page in pdf. able create fully-functioning indexes in other fm books. have read suggestions check or uncheck various settings such tagged pdf (with or without items in include list), article thread, or links/named destinations--none of these seem have effect on book. other suggestions?? thanks.
in book file, when right-click index , select set up, "create hypertext links" checked?
and, if have index open in fm, can ctrl-alt_click on entry , jumps source?
