i have been using adobe golive 9 several months. working yesterday morning. last night wished web work , not open golive. purple box appears , when gets "loading rendering library" stalls , spinning ball appears. have force quit it. during day installed latest realplayer update , opera update (both released yesterday 13th june 2008). can't think of else did computer different. either of these new updates have conflicting issues golive? downloaded new version of golive (the same had) , reinstalled it. still can't open it.

i think golive 9 still used opera render pages in preview. installed latest opera test, , copy of golive won't launch either :-/
i'll report it, wouldn't count on being fixed golive end since it's discontinued. might need uninstall opera. luck after that? if not, i'll dig around , see files need deleted.
