ok installed 9.10 i386 on pc. problem grub loader used there gone , windoze xp boots automatically. have 2 physical hard drives (one 500gb , 1 1tb). both partitioned; windoze installed on smaller partition of 500gb drive, , ubuntu on smaller partition of 1tb. funny thing when installed 9.10 never detected windoze os , @ time thought nothing of it, believe not detecting windoze may have tricked install thinking sole os, didn't install grub boot loader. maybe i'm wrong either way i'm hoping can tell me how make windoze give me option boot 9.10 or if should format ubuntu partition , try again.

9.10 uses new version of grub, instructions using not work in case.
grub installed, if there ubuntu. seems reason grub did not install or installed on wrong part ion. happens if temporarily remove other drive?
