i'm getting start on halloween project involves haunted chandelier.
this first arduino project looking guidance experts.
how work:
a trick or treater approaches house , passes under old chandelier. doing causes chandelier start swinging if ghost has bumped it.
i think need motion sensor , motor (stepper motor?) hidden on chandelier connected battery powered arduino programmed watch movement , activate motor for 3 5 seconds.
i own arduino uno, 9v battery pack, clear breadboard, jumper wires, , 10/220/270 resistors.
any advice appreciated!

a simple pir sensor should sufficient motion detector
