MAC LEOPARD OS X "E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED

when activate adobe digital editions 1.5, experience following error:

"e_adept_request_expired http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/activate"

i have double checked time zone, clock , time, reinstalled software , restarted laptop no avail. error keeps occurring.

i use mac leopard os x.

from conversations -always- combination of system clock , time zone.

try creating new user profile, logging profile, installing ade user profile , testing that, see happens..
