Trip Reports - Please Suggest an Extension for My Needs - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm @ end of rope trying find solution problem. need seems simple, can't figure out how or find solution work.
basically, want add ability users post trip reports site, , users can comment on them. simple blog comment functionality fine, need add custom fields when fill out form. i've looked @ blog extensions , can't find 1 has custom fields. i've looked @ form generation extensions, i'm confused how customize them needs.
so, either blog component ability add custom fields, or form creation extension saves input directly content item i'm looking for. can please suggest extension(s) use accomplish this? i'm using latest final release of joomla (not beta). thank you.
