using cs2 on mac 10.4.11, 2.5gb, if stay within indesign, works fine, no issues. if drag illustrator or cs2 app, computer locks up, curser still moves, apps, keyboard unresponsive. have reboot clear. have run disk check util, etc.. have followed adobe troubleshooting procedures,removed pref's, cleared cache's, etc. have gone far removing cs2 (per adobe guidelines) , reinstalling. no luck, same issues. other cs2 apps work fine. not practical work indesign open, work illustrator, photoshop , indesign set. worked fine until oct 2007 time frame. looking back, received update adobe @ time. looking @ syslog errors (also unix/linux sys admin trade), found issues appear memory address issues in indesign , xwindows. else run or have work around?
