Thread: Upgrade of Death! please help

i upgrading tablet pc xbuntu 9.04 9.10
taking forever, let upgrade overnight (using full duplex {probably problem})

way, next day unplugged while @ school;
, battery ran dead, figured fine (last nite said 6hr till complete)

booted got error:

code:
  init: mountall main process (636) terminated status 127
i tried recovery stuff grub, nothing works!
figured reinstall or attempt repair using alternet install disk. (pc has no floppy drive/cd drive, , 1 usb port, 1 cf slot)

tried network install, pc not connect, built bootable cf card, in hopes of direct boot,
grub not find it; tried usb , grub did not see ether.

bios allows booting net/hd/fd have no floppy drive, , cant install boot loader, because have no bootable media, , cant access files on hd...

dose know how can bootup , maybe save files???

have tried starting in recovery mode , select drop boot prompt networking?

if can above, @ prompt type:

code:
sudo apt-get -f install
to see if system continue upgrade?
