Switching between official 7" display and HDMI TV - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi guys.

hooked 1 of official 7" monitors pi can make portable. struggling find how switch hdmi when home.

have plug hdmi cable in, , registers , switches channel, picture black , 7" display still working.

wondering if there way of regularly switching between two, or if done automatically (the second part not essential)

try add "hdmi_force_hotplug=1" /boot/config.txt , reboot raspberry.

sets raspberry use hdmi mode if no hdmi monitor detected, , should go straight lcd via hdmi.
