i need convert foreign fm files such spanish, portuguese, polish ,into mw word .rtf file; when this, loose foreign characters. not possible this? thought could. if upgrade fm 8 solve issue?
currently using framemaker 7.2 patches, upgrades etc., , using current ms word file. running on windows xp.

converting using fm's built-in rtf export not comprehensive; better result obtained using mif2go omni systems, @ http://www.omsys.com
with mif2go not need upgrade fm 8.
