Deleting page is not working

hi!
i found description in help-section:
click in page want delete , choose special > delete pages.
specify first , last disconnected pages want delete , click delete. if want delete 1 page, enter page number in both text boxes.

i,ve tried several times ugly pahe still there, please me product not working properly.
