Thread: problem with my grub2 ubuntu 9.10

i use dual boot operating system. first, installed windows xp, install ubuntu 9.10. @ first there no problem grubloader because there option of using windows xp. after type command:

sudo os-prober
sudo update-grub

text appears in terminal:

generating grub.cfg ...
found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-14-generic
found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-2.6.31-14-generic
found memtest86+ image: /boot/memtest86+.bin
done

when restart computer, grubloader doesnt show windows xp loader............
where's windows xp?
