i browse , post forum ipad. there 2 site features make difficult, 1 old , 1 new.
first old: when typing post, if click 1 of tool ribbon formatting buttons, buy/download/products/learning/etc navigation ribbon jumps down top of screen, , stays in relative page position (does not stay @ top of screen when scrolling, scrolls page content.) means second or third time use formatting button, navigation ribbon stuck on top of formatting button ribbon, making impossible use of formatting buttons. fix close keyboard, redraws page navigation ribbon @ top of screen, , stays there while scrolling. can scroll page ribbon out of way, tap on edit field re-open keyboard, , ribbon stays put relative page until next time tap formatting button. basically, navigation ribbon jumps when using formatting button, , not stay @ top of screen when keyboard open.
the new problem smiley icons: recent change has limited number of smileys appear in edit dialog. if click ellipses show more of them, there pop window. issue smileys small , difficult tap. if pinch zoom in, bigger, code re-calculates pop position relative zoomed size. so, pop window moves out of screen's view. scrolling screen has little impact on pop window's position, have scroll way top of page able see pop window.
in both cases, code appears doing automatic page element position calculations, don't quite work on ipad. don't make impossible use on ipad, sure make inconvenient , aggravating.
on plus side, how karma count shown next each post.

i use ipad lot , have no major problems.
