ACR 3.7 White Balance Problem

i have installed photoshop lightbox 1.0 on windows (xp sp2) pc. after importing few hundred adjusted dng files software, noticed many of images had severe (thankfully spotted) pinkish colour casts indicating serious white point shift. viewing same images in bridge using acr 3.x (3.2?) revealed no problems. bit confused here. lightbox claims use acr 3.7, supposed shared resource photoshop. version of photoshop cs2 indicated using earlier version. anyway, upgraded acr plugin v3.7 , low , behold same problem appeared in bridge / acr 3.7.

the problem not affect images. seems, though not sure, images white balance had been set custom value affected. other settings: exposure, contrast etc, seem unaffected. possible fix problem in bridge + photoshop + acr 3.7 environment using saved "fixed" images references. problem remains in lightroom, presumably because raw adjustments stored separately, , not fixed, not seem possible have 2 different images side side while carrying out fine white-point adjustments.

anyway, cut chase, quite furious have happened @ all, raises serious questions backward compatibility of software and/or ability of raw (dng) files preserve adjustment information securely against changes in software environment. has occurred should impossible, evidently not. maybe these digital negatives not safe after all.

anybody got idea went wrong , how fix it? there way reset lightroom externally applied raw adjustments?

uh...it's called lightroom...and has it's own forum the adobe photoshop lightroom forum.
