issue background:
edd modified original spec.
structured doc contains 2 elements, contents , illuslist.
each contains list of entries - hotlinked, generated list in book file.
each element, when selected in structure view, highlights large chuck of content (ie, entries in associated list) in doc view. contents element, occurs first child in structure, selected content includes top titles in doc.
in doc view, list content can edited; however, after clicking line, 1 use of cursor arrow (eg, up), takes insertion point top of content chunk.
new entries can entered, using soft returns , tweaking settings in para designer.
my question(s):
1) how these lists created? first answer might involve tocentry attribute on elements; not on elements these linked list entries go.
2) how update lists using "auto-generate" function? files stand-alone , not part of book file. far users recall, files never have been part of book.
can provide insight here?
