i hope posting in right area, if not, please direct me right area.
i have uno 14 digital pins, , 8 channel shield el wire, using d2 d9. (i have 10 channels switch) have 5 vdc out sequencer, on, power inverter. want, inverter off , power when "event" begins.
i still have digital pins10 13 availible, have 4 channel relay board use
to turn inverter on , off, , control 2 more sets of el wire , d0 , d1 reserved fo tx , rx? (not sure why, seems these can used communication?
my first "event" is, using pid or sonar echo sensor triggered , turn on inverter (d13 relay board, dc side of inverter?), step through 1 9 of 1 meter squares of el wire light garden path steps.
i'm not sure, believe el sheild allow pwm of 110v circuits, now, sequentily light , stay on pause of 2 secs? between each "step" nice.
the last step "10th channel" outline of small patio , patio remain on long sensor registers there.
after 10th channel switched on 30 secs, other channels switch off in order turned on (inverter still stays on)
using proximity? pid? sensor near patio, whole sequence reverse ie , switch 9 1 off 2 sec? pause between them when person leaves patio.
channel 10 stays on 30 secs, , inverter powered off, awaiting next event?
have 2 more unos trigger set of "steps , perimeter outlines", want them operate in same manner
i them communicate amongst themselves, wired now, eventualy wireless
it nice have gui interface mapping out my lighted features
nice have android interface phone well
xbee looks expensive, have 3 sets of trancievers 344 mhz? , a mega 2560 kit .
hell settle being able control damn steps ir remote came mega kit!

all of wiring works, steps , perimeters strung, connectors sequencers
are soldered , ready go (everything looks nice @ night, when manually have them on)
all of work when photo sensor registers darkness.
my main problem impatience learn code ( once did basic in 80's, looong time ago me)
give old college try, if can set me in right direction, or if available write sketch me.

k think pfoddesigner might way go, start, looks wifi shields or bt required, going try , modify sequencer example sparkfun start.
