Keyboard support

digital editions seems stop responding navigation keystrokes (arrow keys, page up, page down) @ appear random intervals.

tabbing , forth, have tried clicking(left , right) on every single pane / child control within application no avail. in end, have restart application. incredibly annoying. keyboard support disappointing.

even using mouse, controls don't behave standard windows controls, e.g. scroll bar. clicking on inactive part of scroll bar should produce equivalent of page-down, instead scrolls down single line incredibly slowly. why isn't support digital editions integrated main acrobat program? digital editions seems unnecessary addition.

also, aware program installs "application data" under user account? hope have reason this, since last time checked, folder supposed store *data*, not *executables*. couldn't have possibly installed adobe folder under program files. make sense.

design , implementation decisions make graduate mail order degree in computer science scratch head in confusion.

sorry brutal, these kind of things should caught in q&a phase of development.

cordially yours,
shaun

i having similar problem, running vista home premium sp1.

all keyboard input (arrows, pageup/down, shortcuts, function keys) not responding. tried clicking shift focus every window, tried using shortcut keys f5 , f6, no avail. solution appears restarting program.

also appears happen randomly. scrolling down read bit further down arrow when stopped working.

i have agree op location of program. limitation of installing through flash? accidentally deleted files when running ccleaner (i've since added excluded file) , unexpectedly found myself unable read ebooks (i didn't have internet access @ time). rather unintuitive , unexpected.

regardless of few hiccups, appreciate work guys put digital editions. student me, it's progress makes college more affordable expanding publisher confidence in ebooks ;)

(p.s. sorry if considered large bump these forums. result find via searching, thought worth bringing light)
